简介
REG1B Protein potentially inhibits spontaneous calcium carbonate precipitation and may be associated with neuronal sprouting in the brain. It also contributes to the regeneration of brain and pancreas tissues. REG-1 beta/REG1B Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived REG-1 beta/REG1B protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
REG-1 beta (REG1B) is a member of the regenerating protein family, primarily expressed in pancreatic and gastrointestinal tissues. Its discovery dates back to the 1990s when it was identified for its potential role in cellular regeneration and tissue repair processes. REG1B has garnered interest due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological conditions, including inflammation, tumorigenesis, and tissue regeneration. Research indicates that REG1B may function as a growth factor, promoting cell proliferation and resistance to apoptosis, which is crucial in both normal tissue homeostasis and in the response to injury. Furthermore, elevated levels of REG1B have been associated with certain cancers, making it a potential biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic interventions. Recent studies have explored the recombinant expression of REG1B to further investigate its biological functions and therapeutic potential. Understanding the mechanisms underlying REG1B activity could lead to valuable insights into regenerative medicine and cancer therapy, highlighting its significance in biomedical research. The development of REG1B-based therapeutic strategies underscores the importance of this protein in enhancing our comprehension of cellular growth and repair mechanisms in health and disease.
