Protein S100-A2 (S100A2) is a member of the S100 family. S100A2 is localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes. S100A2 may function as calcium sensor and modulator, contributing to cellular calcium signaling or function by interacting with other proteins and indirectly play a role in many physiological processes. S100A2 may also play a role in suppressing tumor cell growth. S100A2 Protein, Human (HEK293, hFc) is the recombinant human-derived S100A2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
