  • 稳定性测试

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Tapasin is a crucial protein that plays a significant role in the maturation and stabilization of Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class I molecules, which are essential for the immune system's ability to recognize and respond to infected or malignant cells. In the context of immune responses, MHC class I molecules present peptide antigens to CD8+ T cells, facilitating the detection of intracellular pathogens and tumor cells. Dysfunction in tapasin or MHC class I molecules can lead to impaired immune responses and increased susceptibility to diseases, including cancer and viral infections. Research into tapasin and the reconstitution of this protein involves understanding its molecular mechanisms, interactions with other proteins in the antigen-processing pathway, and its potential role in immunotherapy. By reconstituting tapasin, scientists aim to investigate its impact on the stability and functional presentation of MHC class I molecules on cell surfaces. This research not only provides insights into fundamental immunological processes but also holds promise for developing novel therapeutic strategies to enhance immune recognition of tumors and improve vaccine efficacy. Understanding tapasin's structure and function could lead to new avenues for manipulating immune responses in clinical settings, underscoring its importance in both basic and translational immunology.
