简介
IL-5R alpha protein is a cytokine receptor that is expressed on eosinophils, basophils and B cells and is involved in inflammation and immune regulation. IL-5R alpha Protein, Mouse (sf9, His) is expressed by Sf9 insect cells and is a transmembrane protein (L340-C361) with a His tag[3].

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-5 receptor alpha (IL-5Rα) is a crucial component of the IL-5 receptor, which plays a pivotal role in the regulation of eosinophil development, activation, and survival. Eosinophils are key players in various allergic conditions, asthma, and parasitic infections. Overexpression of IL-5Rα has been associated with several eosinophil-related disorders, making it an attractive target for therapeutic interventions. Research on recombinant IL-5Rα protein has gained momentum as scientists aim to better understand its structure, function, and interaction with IL-5. The development of recombinant IL-5Rα has enabled detailed studies into its signaling pathways and mechanisms, facilitating the identification of potential antagonists that could inhibit IL-5 signaling, thus providing novel avenues for treating eosinophilic diseases. Furthermore, this research contributes to the advancement of biologics aimed at modulating eosinophil responses, which may improve patient outcomes in asthma and other inflammatory conditions associated with eosinophilia. Ultimately, elucidating the role of IL-5Rα in immune responses holds promise for developing targeted therapies that can mitigate the impact of eosinophils in chronic inflammatory diseases.
