  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PAEP (Pregnancy-Associated Endocrine Protein) is a glycoprotein that plays a critical role in reproductive biology and fetal development. Originally identified in the context of pregnancy, PAEP is produced by the placenta and is involved in various physiological processes, including immune regulation and modulation of maternal-fetal interactions. Its expression levels have been correlated with various reproductive disorders and complications, making it a potential biomarker for pregnancy-related issues. Research into PAEP has expanded to explore its structural properties and functions at the molecular level, particularly through recombinant protein technology. The use of recombinant PAEP allows for detailed studies of its biological activity, interaction with other proteins, and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the nuances of PAEP function can provide insights into placental health, fetal development, and related pathologies, potentially leading to novel interventions in reproductive medicine. Furthermore, as studies on PAEP evolve, its implications may extend beyond obstetrics, offering insights into broader physiological processes and diseases that involve similar reproductive pathways. The development of PAEP as a recombinant protein serves as a crucial foundation for advancing our understanding of its role and utility in both clinical and research settings.
