Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAM9 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 9) is a member of the ADAM protein family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and proteolytic activity. Research on ADAM9 has gained momentum due to its involvement in several pathological conditions, such as cancer progression, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. Its expression is frequently upregulated in various tumors, suggesting a potential role in tumor metastasis and invasion. Furthermore, ADAM9 has been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting its significance in the central nervous system. The protein possesses both disintegrin and metalloproteinase domains, which allow it to interact with cell surface receptors and cleave extracellular matrix components, thereby influencing cell behavior. Given its diverse functions and association with disease states, recombinant ADAM9 proteins have become valuable tools for investigating its mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential. By utilizing recombinant expression systems, researchers aim to produce functional ADAM9 for in vitro studies, which may contribute to the development of targeted therapies aimed at inhibiting its activity in pathologies where it plays a detrimental role. This research is essential for understanding the multifaceted roles of ADAM9 in health and disease, paving the way for innovative treatment strategies.
