简介
PSG3 Protein, part of the PSBG family, is abundantly produced during pregnancy, with heightened expression and secretion crucial to its unique role in the physiological context of pregnancy. PSG3 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PSG3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PSG3, or Pregnancy-Specific Glycoprotein 3, is part of a larger family of glycoproteins that play critical roles during pregnancy and in fetal development. Found predominantly in the placenta, PSG3 is implicated in maternal-fetal immunological tolerance, helping to prevent maternal rejection of the fetus. Increased interest in PSG3 arises from its potential as a biomarker for various pregnancy-related conditions, such as preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction. Additionally, PSG3 has been studied for its role in modulating immune responses, possibly influencing maternal health and fetal viability. Research into PSG3 includes its structural characteristics, gene expression patterns, and functional interactions within the maternal-fetal interface. Understanding PSG3's mechanisms could lead to novel therapeutic strategies and improve pregnancy outcomes, making it a significant focus within reproductive biology and immunology.
