  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TIE-1, or Tyrosine Kinase with Immunoglobulin-like and EGF-like Domains 1, is a receptor tyrosine kinase primarily implicated in the regulation of angiogenesis and vascular development. Its expression is predominantly observed in endothelial cells and plays a crucial role in the maturation and stability of blood vessels. Research on TIE-1 has gained prominence due to its involvement in various pathological conditions, including cancer, where abnormal angiogenesis facilitates tumor growth and metastasis. The understanding of TIE-1 function is further enhanced by its interaction with other receptors and signaling pathways that govern vascular integrity. Recent studies have focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying TIE-1 signaling and its regulatory role in endothelial cell function. This has led to insights into how TIE-1 may serve as a potential therapeutic target for diseases characterized by dysfunctional angiogenesis. Moreover, TIE-1's relevance in the context of inflammatory diseases and cardiovascular disorders highlights its significance in both basic and translational research. Given the complexity of TIE-1's interactions and its pivotal role in vascular biology, ongoing investigations aim to develop targeted therapies that modulate TIE-1 activity to improve clinical outcomes in a range of diseases. This makes TIE-1 a compelling subject for research, with the potential to unlock novel therapeutic strategies and enhance our understanding of vascular pathophysiology.
