简介
The CSPG5 protein is a potential growth and differentiation factor that is actively involved in and critical for neural development. It may induce ERBB3 activation, a key pathway for cell growth and differentiation. CSPG5 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CSPG5 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CSPG5, or chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 5, is a member of the proteoglycan family, which plays critical roles in cell signaling, tissue remodeling, and the regulation of the extracellular matrix. It is predominantly expressed in the nervous system and has been implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and tumor progression. Research has shown that CSPG5 contributes to the development of both central nervous system and non-central nervous system tumors, making it a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. Additionally, its role in modulating the tumor microenvironment underscores its significance in tumor biology. Due to its involvement in such processes, recombinant CSPG5 protein has gained interest for therapeutic applications and as a tool for studying its functions in detail. By producing and characterizing this recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate the specific mechanisms by which CSPG5 influences cellular behaviors and its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure-function relationship of CSPG5 may pave the way for novel treatment strategies in cancer and other diseases where this proteoglycan plays a pivotal role.
