Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100A12, also known as calgranulin C, is a member of the S100 family of calcium-binding proteins, which are known to play pivotal roles in various cellular processes such as inflammation, immune response, and cell differentiation. Elevated levels of S100A12 have been observed in several inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and inflammatory bowel disease, indicating its potential as a biomarker for disease activity and progression. Research has increasingly focused on the recombinant expression and purification of S100A12 protein to better understand its structure-function relationships and biochemical properties. Recombinant S100A12 provides a valuable tool for studying its interactions with other proteins and cells, as well as its role in modulating immune responses. Investigations into the therapeutic potential of targeting S100A12 are also underway, given its involvement in pro-inflammatory signaling pathways. The production of recombinant S100A12 has facilitated the exploration of its mechanisms of action in both normal physiological processes and disease states, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies in managing inflammation-related conditions.
