简介
The CMBL protein is a cysteine hydrolase that converts olmesartan medoxomil to its active form olmesartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker. It may also activate beta-lactam antibiotics such as faropenem etexil and renamcillin. CMBL Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived CMBL protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CMBL (Cysteine-rich secretory protein, LCCL domain-containing 2) is a novel protein implicated in various biological processes, including inflammation, immune response, and cancer progression. Its reconstitution in vitro has attracted significant attention due to its potential therapeutic applications. Studies have shown that CMBL plays a crucial role in modulating the immune system's response to pathogens and tumors, suggesting it could serve as a biomarker for disease monitoring or a target for novel drug development. Additionally, understanding the structural and functional properties of CMBL, including its interactions with various cellular components, is essential for deciphering its role in disease mechanisms. Researchers are focusing on the recombinant expression of CMBL to create a stable source of this protein for functional assays, high-throughput screening, and structural analysis. Investigating the pathways influenced by CMBL, as well as its regulatory mechanisms, may unveil new insights into how this protein can be leveraged in therapeutic contexts. The growing body of research surrounding CMBL highlights its significance in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems and its potential utility in clinical applications.
