LIMS1

简介
LIMS1 is an adapter protein that critically connects β-integrin to the actin cytoskeleton and cell surface receptors. It mediates important cellular processes and competes with LIMS2 by linking to integrin-linked protein kinase 1 (ILK) through its first LIM domain. LIMS1 Protein, Mouse (sf9, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived LIMS1 protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells , with N-10*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LIMS1 (LIM domain containing 1), a gene encoding a protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, has garnered increasing attention in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. The LIMS1 protein is involved in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways, contributing to processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation. Its expression has been linked to various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer progression and tissue development. The need for recombinant LIMS1 protein arises from its potential application in understanding its functional mechanisms and interactions in different cellular contexts. By producing LIMS1 in a recombinant form, researchers can utilize it for structural studies, therapeutic targeting, and the elucidation of its role in disease mechanisms. This approach also allows for the examination of post-translational modifications, protein-protein interactions, and the identification of potential binding partners. Overall, the study of recombinant LIMS1 protein is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of its biological significance and exploring its utility in therapeutic interventions.
