简介
Semaphorin-3C (SEMA3C) protein plays a crucial role in developmental processes by binding to plexin family members, particularly PLXND1, orchestrating intricate cellular signaling pathways. Its indispensable contribution to normal cardiovascular development during embryogenesis and its function as an attractant for growing axons underscore SEMA3C's significance in axon growth and guidance. Semaphorin-3C/SEMA3C Protein, Human (HEK293, His, solution) is the recombinant human-derived Semaphorin-3C/SEMA3C protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Semaphorin-3C (SEMA3C) is a member of the semaphorin family, which plays a critical role in axon guidance, neuronal development, and the regulation of immune responses. Its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes has drawn considerable attention in both neuroscience and cancer research. SEMA3C functions by binding to its receptors, primarily neuropilins and plexins, which initiate signaling pathways that influence cellular behaviors such as migration, adhesion, and differentiation. Studies have shown that SEMA3C is upregulated in several tumors, suggesting a dual role in cancer progression and metastasis, while also being implicated in the development of the nervous system. The recombinant protein form of SEMA3C has gained interest as a potential therapeutic agent, allowing researchers to investigate its biological functions and therapeutic applications in treating neurological disorders and cancer. Understanding the structure-function relationship of SEMA3C and its interactions with cellular receptors could pave the way for innovative strategies in targeting SEMA3C in disease contexts. Furthermore, the production of recombinant SEMA3C enables high-throughput screening assays, facilitating the discovery of small molecules or antibodies that can modulate its activity. Overall, SEMA3C represents a promising focus for research aimed at elucidating complex cellular pathways and developing targeted therapies for various diseases.
