Gene name
OARD1
-
简介
OARD1 is an ADP:ATP antiporter that regulates mitochondrial energy dynamics by shuttling ADP for ATP synthesis and exporting ATP. It induces mitochondrial thermogenesis, uncouples proton flux and regulates ATP production efficiency. OARD1 Protein, Human (Myc, His) is the recombinant human-derived OARD1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His, C-Myc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OARD1, or Omicron-Variant-Associated Receptor Domain 1, has emerged as a significant focus in the study of immune responses and viral interactions, particularly in the context of COVID-19 research. This recombinant protein is involved in the binding and modulation of immune signaling pathways, which are crucial for understanding how the body responds to various viral infections. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have facilitated the production of OARD1, allowing researchers to explore its structural and functional properties in detail. The study of OARD1 is particularly relevant in the wake of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, as its variants exhibit different interaction patterns with host cells and immune receptors. By characterizing OARD1, scientists aim to uncover potential therapeutic targets and strategies for vaccine development. Moreover, understanding the mechanisms through which OARD1 influences immune response can provide insights into disease progression and treatment options for COVID-19 and other viral infections. Therefore, the investigation into OARD1 recombinant protein is not only pivotal for basic virology but also holds promise for advancing clinical applications and improving patient outcomes in infectious disease management.
