Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-1RL2, also known as interleukin-1 receptor like 2, is a member of the IL-1 receptor family that plays a crucial role in modulating immune responses and inflammation. Research into IL-1RL2 has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in various inflammatory diseases and its unique capacity to interact with both conventional IL-1 family cytokines and novel players like IL-33. This interaction can lead to diverse biological functions, such as the activation of immune cells, promotion of T helper cell differentiation, and modulation of inflammatory pathways. Studies indicate that IL-1RL2 is expressed in various cell types, including epithelial cells, fibroblasts, and immune cells, suggesting its importance in tissue homeostasis and immune regulation. Furthermore, dysregulation of IL-1RL2 signaling has been linked to chronic inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, and even cancer, highlighting its therapeutic potential as a target for drug development. The production of recombinant IL-1RL2 protein has enabled researchers to investigate its biological activity in vitro and in vivo, paving the way for the discovery of novel strategies to manipulate IL-1RL2 pathways for therapeutic benefits. Understanding the intricate signaling mechanisms of IL-1RL2 could lead to innovative treatments for inflammatory and autoimmune disorders, making it a significant focus of immunological research.
