Analytical Data

  • Gene name

    CD367/CLEC4A

  • 简介

The CD367/CLEC4A protein is a C-type lectin receptor that prefers to bind mannose and fucose and interacts weakly with GlcNAc in a Ca(2+)-dependent manner. It is critical for immune regulation, undergoing clathrin-dependent endocytosis upon antigen triggering, leading to antigen presentation and cross-priming of CD8+ T cells. CD367/CLEC4A Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CD367/CLEC4A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

  • Application

    SPRMSTBLIITCELISACELL ASSAYDRUG SCREENING

  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CD367, also known as CLEC4A, is a type of C-type lectin receptor that plays a significant role in the immune system, particularly in the recognition and uptake of pathogens. It is predominantly expressed on dendritic cells and other antigen-presenting cells, where it functions to modulate immune responses through its ability to bind to specific carbohydrate structures on the surface of microorganisms and tumor cells. Research on CD367/CLEC4A has garnered attention due to its potential implications in various diseases, including infections, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. By studying the recombinant forms of CD367, scientists aim to better understand its ligand-binding properties and signaling mechanisms, which could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies. The elucidation of CD367's role in immune regulation might provide insights into enhancing vaccine efficacy and designing targeted therapies to manipulate immune responses for better clinical outcomes. Furthermore, as a target for monoclonal antibodies, CD367 could offer new avenues for immune checkpoint inhibition, thereby broadening the scope of immunotherapy. Overall, the study of CD367/CLEC4A recombinant proteins is pivotal in advancing our understanding of immune dynamics, paving the way for innovative diagnostics and therapeutics in immunology.
