  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TLR3, or Toll-like receptor 3, is a vital component of the innate immune system, playing a crucial role in the recognition of viral infections and the subsequent activation of immune responses. It specifically identifies double-stranded RNA, a common byproduct of viral replication, which triggers signaling pathways that lead to the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and type I interferons. The exploration of TLR3/CD283 recombinant protein is significant for understanding its molecular mechanisms and potential therapeutic applications, particularly in antiviral therapies and vaccine development. The ability to produce recombinant TLR3 enhances research on its structure-function relationships and facilitates the study of its interactions with various ligands. Additionally, TLR3 has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers, making it an attractive target for drug development. By investigating the properties and effects of TLR3/CD283 recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its role in immune regulation and identify novel strategies to manipulate TLR3 pathways for therapeutic benefits. This research can ultimately contribute to the design of immunomodulatory treatments that enhance the immune response against pathogens or mitigate undesirable inflammatory reactions.
