简介
IL-24 protein, produced by T-cells, regulates immune responses, tissue homeostasis, defense, and oncogenesis. It induces type I interferon response in influenza infection, signaling through IL20RA/IL20RB or IL20RB/IL22RA1 receptor complexes to stimulate JAK1-STAT3 and MAPK pathways. IL-24 promotes secretion of IL8 and MMP1, maintains ER homeostasis, and serves as a quality control mechanism for the ubiquitin proteasome system. IL-24 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived IL-24 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-mFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-24 (IL-24) is a member of the IL-10 cytokine family, known for its diverse roles in immune regulation, inflammation, and apoptosis. Initially discovered for its anti-tumor properties, IL-24 has garnered significant attention due to its potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment. Researchers have observed that IL-24 can selectively induce apoptosis in cancer cells while sparing normal cells, making it a promising candidate for targeted cancer therapies. Additionally, IL-24 exhibits anti-angiogenic effects, inhibiting the formation of new blood vessels that tumors require for growth and metastasis. The recombinant form of IL-24 has been explored for its ability to modulate immune responses, enhance anti-tumor immunity, and reduce tumor burden. Studies using recombinant IL-24 have demonstrated its effectiveness in preclinical models, showing a reduction in tumor size and improved survival rates. As research progresses, the focus has also shifted to understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning IL-24's actions, its signaling pathways, and its interactions with other cytokines. This growing body of evidence supports the potential of IL-24 as a therapeutic agent in oncology, prompting ongoing investigations into its application in combination therapies and clinical trials aimed at establishing its safety and efficacy in human patients. In summary, the study of IL-24 recombinant protein is a significant area of research that holds promise for novel cancer treatments, with implications for improving patient outcomes and advancing personalized medicine approaches.
