简介
Wnt-3a protein is a Frizzled receptor ligand that activates TCF/LEF transcription factors in the canonical Wnt pathway, which is critical for embryonic mesoderm development, somite formation, neural tube morphogenesis, and stem cell self-renewal in vitro. Formation of a 1:1 complex with AFM ensures prolonged biological activity and may represent its physiological form. Wnt3a Protein, Mouse (His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Wnt3a, expressed by E. coli, with N-10*His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
1. Measured by its ability to induce alkaline phosphatase production by MC3T3-E1 mouse preosteoblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is 3.463 ng/mL. 2. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized LRP-5, Human at 2 μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind Biotinylated Mouse Wnt3a. The ED50 for this effect is 4.290 ng/mL. Measured by its ability to induce alkaline phosphatase production by MC3T3-E1 mouse preosteoblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is 3.463 ng/mL,corresponding to a specific activity is 2.888 ×105 U/mg units/mg.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Wnt3a is a pivotal member of the Wnt signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. Dysregulation of Wnt3a has been implicated in several diseases, particularly in cancer and developmental disorders. Researchers have increasingly focused on recombinant Wnt3a protein for its potential therapeutic applications, specifically in regenerative medicine and cancer treatment. The production of recombinant Wnt3a allows for a more in-depth investigation into its mechanisms of action and interactions with other proteins within the signaling cascade. Moreover, understanding how Wnt3a influences stem cell behavior and tissue regeneration can lead to novel strategies for tissue engineering and repair. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enhanced the yield and functionality of Wnt3a, facilitating in vitro and in vivo studies. Through these studies, scientists aim to elucidate the biological effects of Wnt3a, optimizing its use for targeted therapies and exploring its role in promoting regenerative processes. As research progresses, the therapeutic potential of recombinant Wnt3a continues to attract attention, with hopes of translating these findings into clinical applications for a variety of diseases.
