简介
IL-2R alpha (CD25) is an essential component of high-affinity IL-2 receptors. IL-2R alpha enhances binding of IL-2 to its receptor complex so that regulates T cell growth and other lymphoid functions[1][2]. IL-2R alpha/CD25 Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is a biotinylated recombinant human IL-2R alpha protein with a His tag and an Avi tag at the C-terminus and is expressed in HEK293 cells. It consists of 192 amino acids (E22-C213).

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-2R alpha, also known as CD25, is a key component of the interleukin-2 receptor complex and plays a critical role in the regulation of immune responses. It is predominantly expressed on activated T cells and regulatory T cells (Tregs), influencing their proliferation, survival, and function. Research into IL-2R alpha/CD25 has gained significant attention due to its implications in various immunological disorders, including autoimmune diseases, graft-versus-host disease, and cancer. Elevated levels of CD25 are often associated with a more aggressive tumor phenotype, while modulation of its expression can potentially enhance anti-tumor immunity. Recombinant forms of IL-2R alpha/CD25 are employed in both basic research and therapeutic applications, serving as potential biomarkers for immune activation and targets for immunotherapy. Studies have focused on characterizing the molecular mechanisms underlying CD25 expression and signaling pathways, as well as the development of CD25-targeted therapies, such as monoclonal antibodies. The exploration of IL-2R alpha/CD25 provides insights into T cell regulation, with the potential to enhance therapeutic strategies for immunological diseases and improve outcomes in cancer treatment. Given the ongoing advancements in biotechnology, the production of recombinant IL-2R alpha/CD25 offers a valuable tool for elucidating its functional roles and therapeutic potential within the immune system.
