简介
CDCP1 protein may be involved in cell adhesion and extracellular matrix association. Phosphorylation of CDCP1 may regulate the balance between anchorage and migration, proliferation, and differentiation. CDCP1 Protein, Human (312a.a, HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived CDCP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDCP1, or CUB Domain Containing Protein 1, is a transmembrane protein that has garnered significant interest in cancer research due to its overexpression in various malignancies, including breast, colorectal, and lung cancers. It plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and invasion, which are all critical in tumor progression and metastasis. The protein’s involvement in cancer makes it a potential biomarker for diagnosis and a target for therapeutic interventions. Research into CDCP1 has revealed its association with oncogenic signaling pathways, thereby influencing tumor microenvironments and cancer cell behavior. Furthermore, the development of recombinant CDCP1 proteins has facilitated studies aimed at understanding its structural properties and functional mechanisms. By utilizing techniques such as monoclonal antibody generation and protein engineering, scientists are probing into CDCP1’s interactions with other cellular molecules, shedding light on its role in tumor biology. As a result, CDCP1 not only serves as a promising candidate for further exploration in cancer treatment but also enhances our understanding of the molecular underpinnings of tumorigenesis and metastatic dissemination.
