简介
The C-MPL Protein, a receptor for thrombopoietin, is a protein encoded in humans by the oncogene of myeloproliferative leukemia virus. The C-MPL Protein is involved in the activation of the JAK/STAT/MAPK signaling pathway. C-MPL Protein is a biomarker for thrombocytopenia. C-MPL Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived C-MPL protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C-MPL, or c-Mpl, is a critical receptor for thrombopoietin (TPO), a key hormone in the regulation of megakaryocyte and platelet production. Understanding the structure and function of C-MPL is imperative for addressing various hematological disorders, including thrombocytopenia and other platelet-related diseases. Dysregulation of the C-MPL signaling pathway can result in severe conditions, such as myeloproliferative neoplasms or other forms of leukemia. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production of C-MPL, allowing researchers to study its molecular mechanisms and interactions in detail. By generating recombinant C-MPL proteins, scientists can investigate their role in TPO signaling, receptor dimerization, and downstream signaling cascades. These studies provide insights into how C-MPL operates at the cellular level, paving the way for the development of therapeutic interventions targeting this receptor. Furthermore, recombinant C-MPL can be utilized for the development of diagnostic tools or therapeutic agents, enhancing our understanding of platelet physiology and pathology. As research progresses, the implications of C-MPL in clinical settings continue to expand, underscoring its significance in both basic and translational research.
