Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LAIR1 (Lymphocyte Activation Inhibitory Receptor 1) is an inhibitory receptor predominantly expressed on B cells and T cells, playing a critical role in regulating immune responses. The study of LAIR1 has gained traction due to its potential implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancer. This receptor interacts with collagen and is involved in modulating the signaling pathways that control lymphocyte activation and differentiation. Understanding LAIR1's structural properties, particularly through recombinant protein studies, enables researchers to dissect its functional dynamics and elucidate its role in immune tolerance and activation. Moreover, the development of LAIR1 recombinant proteins offers a platform for therapeutic applications, including the creation of check-point inhibitors that could enhance anti-tumor immunity or therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. The intricate balance of immune activation and inhibition mediated by LAIR1 underscores its importance in maintaining immune homeostasis and presents a significant focus for ongoing research in immunology and therapeutic interventions.
