Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The PSG1 (Pregnancy-Specific Glycoprotein 1) recombinant protein has garnered significant attention in the field of biochemical and medical research due to its pivotal role during pregnancy and potential implications in cancer biology. PSGs are a family of glycoproteins produced predominantly by the placenta, which have been implicated in modulating immune responses to preserve pregnancy, particularly through immune tolerance mechanisms that prevent maternal rejection of the semi-allogeneic fetus. The PSG1 protein, specifically, has been shown to exhibit immunosuppressive properties, influencing various immune cells and potentially contributing to the maintenance of a favorable environment for fetal development. Moreover, recent studies have suggested a connection between PSG1 expression levels and certain malignancies, hinting at its potential utility as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. The ability to produce PSG1 as a recombinant protein facilitates investigations into its structural and functional characteristics, allowing researchers to explore its biological mechanisms in detail. Understanding the role of PSG1 in both pregnancy and cancer could lead to novel therapeutic approaches and diagnostic tools, emphasizing the importance of continued research into this intriguing protein.
