简介
VISTA/B7-H5 protein, an immunoregulatory receptor, inhibits T-cell response and may regulate embryonic stem cell differentiation by inhibiting BMP4 signaling. It also stimulates MMP14-mediated MMP2 activation, suggesting a role in matrix metalloproteinase processes. These roles highlight the significance of VISTA/B7-H5 in immune regulation, embryonic development, and extracellular matrix dynamics. VISTA/B7-H5 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived VISTA/B7-H5 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VISTA (V-domain Ig Suppressor of T cell Activation) and B7-H5 are members of the B7 family of immunomodulatory proteins that play crucial roles in regulating T cell responses. They are primarily expressed on immune cells, including dendritic cells and macrophages, where they can influence the activation, proliferation, and differentiation of T cells. The study of VISTA and B7-H5 has gained significant attention due to their potential as therapeutic targets in cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune diseases. VISTA functions as a negative regulator of T cell activation, helping to maintain immune tolerance and prevent excessive inflammatory responses, while B7-H5 can modulate T cell activity through its interactions with specific receptors on T cells. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of these proteins, including their signaling pathways and interactions, is critical for developing strategies to manipulate immune responses for therapeutic gain. Recent advances in the production and characterization of recombinant VISTA/B7-H5 proteins have facilitated in-depth studies of their roles in immune regulation and their potential utility in clinical applications. Researchers are exploring the possibility of blocking or enhancing their activity through monoclonal antibodies or small-molecule inhibitors to improve anti-tumor responses or restore immune function in autoimmune conditions. Overall, the investigation of VISTA and B7-H5 represents a promising frontier in immunology, with implications for enhancing cancer therapies and improving strategies for managing immune-related disorders.
