  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains) is an immune checkpoint receptor predominantly expressed on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, playing a crucial role in regulating immune responses. The increasing understanding of tumor immunology has highlighted TIGIT as a significant inhibitory molecule that can downregulate T cell activity and contribute to immune evasion by tumors. Research has shown that TIGIT interacts with its ligands—CD155 and CD112—which are often overexpressed in various cancers, resulting in diminished anti-tumor immunity. Consequently, TIGIT has emerged as a promising target for cancer immunotherapy. Recombination technology enables the production of TIGIT proteins, facilitating the exploration of its structure and function. Various studies have focused on generating soluble forms of TIGIT to evaluate their effects on immune cell regulation, elucidating mechanisms of action, and assessing their potential as therapeutic agents in combination with other checkpoint inhibitors. Understanding the role of TIGIT in shaping immune responses offers new avenues for enhancing the efficacy of cancer treatments and optimizing immune-based therapies. Thus, the ongoing research on TIGIT recombinant proteins is pivotal for developing innovative strategies to combat cancer by reinvigorating the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate tumor cells.
