Gene name
CD19
-
简介
The CD19 protein acts as a coreceptor for B cell antigen receptors, lowering the signaling threshold and initiating B cell responses to antigens. It activates a cascade leading to PI3K activation and Ca(2+) mobilization. CD19 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived CD19 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
- Application
-
Biological Activity
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. When Recombinant Mouse CD19 is present at 2 μg/mL, can bind Recombinant biotinylated Human CD81. The ED50 for this effect is 8.41 μg/mL. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD19 is a critical protein that serves as a pan-B cell marker and plays a pivotal role in B cell development, activation, and differentiation. Its significance in the context of immunotherapy, particularly in the treatment of B cell malignancies such as leukemia and lymphoma, has spurred extensive research into CD19-targeted therapies. The advent of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy has highlighted the therapeutic potential of engineering T cells to express receptors that specifically target CD19, leading to remarkable clinical outcomes. However, there are challenges, including antigen escape and the development of resistance, which necessitate the exploration of CD19 as a recombinant protein for understanding its structural and functional properties. Researchers are focusing on producing CD19 recombinant proteins to analyze their binding affinities, elucidating the mechanisms of immune evasion, and developing improved therapeutic strategies. Additionally, the study of CD19's signaling pathways and its interactions with other molecules in the immune system may provide insights into enhancing the efficacy and safety of CD19-targeted therapies. Through these investigations, the ultimate goal is to refine existing treatment modalities and contribute to the advancement of personalized medicine in oncology, offering new hope for patients with B cell-related disorders.
