  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HVEM, also known as TNFRSF14 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor Superfamily Member 14), is a critical member of the TNF receptor family that plays a significant role in regulating immune responses. It is primarily expressed in lymphocytes and serves as a receptor for several ligands, including LIGHT, BTLA, and lymphotoxin. The interaction between HVEM and its ligands is essential for modulating T-cell activation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Dysregulation of HVEM signaling has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases, cancers, and infections, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research on HVEM/TNFRSF14 recombinant proteins focuses on elucidating their structural and functional properties, which are crucial for understanding the mechanisms of immune modulation. This research often involves the production and characterization of recombinant HVEM proteins to explore their interactions with ligands and downstream signaling pathways, as well as their potential applications in disease treatment and vaccine development. By advancing our knowledge of HVEM biology, we can potentially discover novel strategies for enhancing immune responses or suppressing unwanted inflammation, thus paving the way for innovative therapies in oncology and immunology.
